NOMINATIONS are now open for Tameside businesses to put themselves forward in 10 categories, as part of an awards ceremony returning this year.
The Pride of Tameside Business Awards will be back after a five-year absence on Thursday, May 23, at Dukinfield Town Hall.
Organised by Tameside Council’s Economy, Employment and Skills team, the not-for-profit awards aim to showcase the variety of businesses across the borough and the people who are the driving force behind them.
The categories that businesses can enter in were recently confirmed, and here’s a reminder of them for you:
Large Business of the Year (51+ employees)
SME of the Year (two to 50 employees)
Entrepreneur of the Year
Creative Business of the Year
Manufacturer/Engineering of the Year
Construction/Property Business of the Year
Childcare/Social Care Business of the Year
Tech/Digital Business of the Year
Social Enterprise/CIC/Charity of the Year
Green Impact Business of the Year
Businesses have until midnight on March 31 to enter, by applying online at https://www.prideoftamesideawards.co.uk
Nominations will then be judged by a panel consisting of Jackie Moores, the Principal and CEO at Tameside College; Brianna Harvey, Social Media Marketing Consultant at Digital Flamingo; and John Townsend, Tameside Business Community Champion.
