BUSINESSES across the Tameside community will be able to nominate themselves within 10 categories as part of an awards ceremony returning this year.
The Pride of Tameside Business Awards will be back after a five-year absence on Thursday, May 23, at Dukinfield Town Hall.
Organised by Tameside Council’s Economy, Employment and Skills team, the not-for-profit awards aim to showcase the variety of businesses across the borough and the people who are the driving force behind them.
The categories that businesses will be able to enter in are:
Large Business of the Year (51+ employees)
SME of the Year (two to 50 employees)
Entrepreneur of the Year
Creative Business of the Year
Manufacturer/Engineering of the Year
Construction/Property Business of the Year
Childcare/Social Care Business of the Year
Tech/Digital Business of the Year
Social Enterprise/CIC/Charity of the Year
Green Impact Business of the Year
Excitement is continuing to build for the event, for which organisers are appealing for businesses to sponsor a category.
Greater Manchester Business Growth Hub and local creative business Visual Architects have already signed on the dotted line.
