The Tameside Correspondent is a respected, free, monthly newspaper with a readership of 37,000 across the community, connecting local people with local businesses.

Set up in 2017, the newspaper is sister publication to the Saddleworth Independent and the Shaw and Royton Correspondent.

It has a top team of qualified journalists reporting on important stories, pictures, social, business and sporting events, all under the direction of Editor-in-Chief Aimee Belmore.

The newspaper is a member of the Independent Community News Network and is regulated by IMPRESS.

The newspaper is hand-delivered across the community. Outlets include pubs, restaurants and cafés, post offices and newsagents, and train stations.

The website receives almost 70,000 unique hits per month and the fast-moving Facebook page has more than 10,000 followers.
