Volunteers adorn Stalybridge with Poppies ahead of Remembrance

VOLUNTEERS have been out and about in Stalybridge town centre to make sure it will honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Poppies have been placed at various locations ahead of Armistice Day and Remembrance Sunday.
That means the fallen will have visible respect ahead of the commemorations next month.
Stalybridge’s war memorial, on Trinity Street, will see services remembering people who gave their life serving their country in various conflicts, including both World Wars.
And the additions, which have been put up today (Saturday, October 28), ensure the whole town centre gives them the rightful honour.
