Families considering primary school places are being invited to discover what Friezland Primary School has to offer at a series of open events.
The Greenfield school is holding four sessions for families with children due to start school in September 2027, giving parents and carers an opportunity to tour the school and meet staff.
The first event will take place on Friday, October 17, from 9.30am to 10.30am, followed by an evening session on Tuesday, October 21, from 5pm to 6pm.
A further open event will be held on Tuesday, November 18, from 9.30am to 10.30am.
Each visit will last approximately one hour and include a short presentation, tour of the school and an opportunity to ask questions. Those attending the morning sessions will also have the chance to meet pupils.
Doors will open 15 minutes before each session, with refreshments available.
Friezland is one of Oldham’s smaller primary schools and says it places an emphasis on a broad and balanced curriculum, pastoral support and helping children develop confidence as they progress through school.
The school is rated Good by Ofsted.
Families can find further information and register their interest through the Friezland School website.
