FAMILIES are being invited to enjoy a free day of entertainment and activities at the annual summer occasion in Dukinfield Park.
The Family Fun Day has a range of activities planned for visitors of all ages – including music, junior football, face painting and Zumba.
Organised by Astley Sports Village in partnership with Tameside Council, Dukinfield and Stalybridge Rotary Club and Jigsaw Homes, it will take place on Saturday, July 18, from 11am to 3pm.
Those who come along will also have the chance to meet members of the emergency services, who will be showcasing the equipment they use and explaining more about their duties.
A host of local community organisations are also expected to be present, including The Together Centre, Guides, Scouts, dance groups and local church groups.
