Stalybridge care home marks Good Friday with Easter celebrations for residents

Residents at a care home in Stalybridge came together to celebrate Good Friday with a day of Easter-themed activities.

Those living at Millbrook Care Home enjoyed a range of events designed to bring people together and mark the seasonal occasion.

The home was decorated for the celebrations, creating a bright and welcoming setting for residents throughout the day, with activities taking place in the lounge.

Residents took part in a variety of games and pastimes including dominoes, crosswords and Easter crafts, while others chose to relax and socialise with friends.

Claire Jones, Home Manager at Millbrook Care Home, said the day had been a success.

She said: “Good Friday was a lovely opportunity for residents to come together and enjoy some Easter activities. From crafts and puzzles to relaxing with friends, it was wonderful to see everyone taking part and enjoying the day in their own way.”
