A POPULAR snooker competition in Ashton-under-Lyne has wrapped up after a closely-fought final.
Waterloo and Taunton Conservative Club recently hosted the final of its long-running Winter Snooker Handicap, a tournament that has been a fixture at the club since 2014.
This year’s final saw Adz Langridge face off against Dave Saunders, and it was Adz that ultimately came out on top.

Club Chairman Leon Tamcken said: “This year’s handicap has been brilliant and really brought the community together. I’d like to give thanks to the organisers Dave Russell and Phil Graham for giving us another great competition”.
The tournament concluded with a presentation evening, with attendees treated to live entertainment from Stage Two and a hot pie supper.
