TAMESIDE Rotary’s much-loved Santa tour is set to return this December, with the familiar sound of sleigh bells soon to be heard across Ashton-under-Lyne.
Despite his famously hectic festive schedule, Santa will once again make time to visit neighbourhoods across the town between Thursday, December 4, and Wednesday, December 17.
He’ll also be popping into some of the busiest shopping spots – so there’s every chance you could catch him while ticking off your own Christmas list.
The evening routes will run from 6.30pm to 9pm, with Santa joined by his hardworking Rotary helpers.
As always, the tour will support the Rotary Club’s fundraising efforts, helping them continue their important work in the community during the festive season and beyond.

Thursday, December 4: Starting at OL7 9TJ – Dog & Pheasant on Oldham Road (Top Dog), Anglesey Road, Ney Street, Springwood Way, Camberwell and streets off, Downshaw, Beech Mount and finishing at Store Street.
Tuesday, December 9: Starting at OL6 8DE at 6.15pm – the top of St Albans, Lees Road and all of the Hartshead estate.
Wednesday, December 10: Starting at OL7 9JA – Newmarket Road/Patterdale Avenue, Penrith, Furness, Hilton Drive, Ashton Moss estate, Keswick, Lakeside, Borrowdale, Bowness, Kendal, Ambleside, Ullswater, Thirlmere, Rydal, Scafell Avenue and finishing at Crowhill Road.
Thursday, December 11: Starting at OL6 8HR – Rosehill Road/Mossley Road, Rosehill Road, Aldergate Grove, Cravenwood, Weymouth Road, Kings Road, Kenworthy, Hampson, St Christopher’s, Gorsey Way and The Mere.
