TWO streets in Denton have now been adorned with the St George’s cross.
A roundabout at Edward Street and Lance Corporal Andrew Breeze Way have had England’s national flag emblazoned on them.
The displays come as part of the wider ‘Raise the Colours’ movement, which is sweeping the UK.

First emerging during England’s recent football campaigns, the wave has grown into a campaign of mass flag-raising, from homes and businesses to roundabouts and road markings.
Supporters call it a celebration of national pride and identity.
Critics, however, warn it has been seized upon by far-right groups, fuelling heated debate about what the flag represents.
