LOCAL residents will have the chance to explore the new-look Ashton Old Baths for the first time at an upcoming community fun day.
The historic building in Henry Square has been reinvented from a former derelict Victorian bathhouse into a thriving space for small and medium-sized businesses in the digital and creative sector.

Managed by Oxford Innovation Space, the business and innovation hub is opening its doors on Stamford Street West to showcase its transformation and provide some summer fun to families.
Everyone is welcome to come along on Saturday, August 30, from midday to 3pm.
Among the array of activities to enjoy include a professional chocolatier holding a workshop making chocolate lollipops, a magician, and games such as giant Jenga, Connect 4, Street Fighters, Mortal Kombat, Pacman, and Space Invaders.
Fuelling the fun will be delicious treats and refreshments such as Dutch pancakes and waffles.
Although the event is free, tickets must be booked in advance online at www.intameside.co.uk/aobfunday
Councillor Andrew McLaren, Deputy Leader of Tameside Council, said: “We are throwing open the doors on this amazing building so that everyone can come along and see for themselves how fantastic it really is.
“We want everyone to come along and enjoy the event and celebrate this magnificent and innovative space and the brilliant businesses that call it home.
“It’s become a place of innovation and growth, and it is a brilliant success story that everyone should have the chance to see it and know more about!”
