Rotarians help pave the way at community garden

KIND-HEARTED Rotarians dug deep recently to help make a difference to a local community garden.

Members of Dukinfield and Stalybridge Rotary Club got stuck in on a Saturday morning at the Reach Community Garden in Millbrook.

The team paved the way by creating a new path through the garden, allowing visitors to branch out into a soon-to-be grassed area near the stream to enjoy quiet time and listen to nature.

Following a project which began in 2022, Reach Church on Huddersfield Road regenerated disused land they were gifted into a sustainable and multifunctional garden, freely accessible to local people and open to everyone.
