FOLLOWING the Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla on Saturday, May 6, in a historic coronation service at Westminster Abbey in London, residents were encouraged to host street parties to celebrate the momentous occasion.
The sun shone on Kirkham Close in Denton as they marked the occasion in style.
Residents were invited some weeks ago to apply for street parties and road closures.
Bunting was hung and a delicious buffet shared among neighbours and friends
Plenty of people chose to wear red, white, and blue, the Union Flag, or St George’s Flag, and the whole street looked positively patriotic.
