IT WAS all systems go for members of Stalybridge Festival Committee as they hosted their annual Stalybridge Spring Show in the town on Sunday, May 7.
There was a Royal theme to mark the Coronation of King Charles III with a 5-metre high ‘Crown Pole’ in the centre of the performance arena.

The sun was shining as hundreds of people descended on Cheetham Park for the family-fun event.
Children enjoyed fairground rides, ice cream and candy floss while there were plenty of attractions for adults, with community groups and organisations manning stalls.
Pupils of Stalybridge’s Sarah England School of Dance showed off their skills on a five metre high maypole, while dog owners were allowed to show their competitive streak with a show.
