Tameside Captured- looking through your lens

INDECISION has certainly reigned over the past few weeks – one day it is the hottest we have ever seen, a couple of days later it is lashing down with rain.

But while Mother Nature seemingly cannot make her mind up, Correspondent readers came to a decision.

And it has paid off with a brilliant array of photos making up this month’s Tameside Captured.

Predictably, given the weather we experienced, the sun dominated with Johnathan Hardwick using it to wonderful effect at Hartshead Pike in this month’s Star Image.

Sarah Marsland and Lesley Hallows certainly showed what a difference it can make, as did Pauline Letson Bentliff on a slightly different way, capturing the moon against a backdrop of a clear blue sky.

Kevin Rutter caught the colours it can cast while it was not just us humans who soaked up the rays, as Jasmine Bertenshaw and Nicola Murphy showed.

As we all know, after the sunlight, comes the cloud and Ben McDonal caught some looming large over us.

Finally, the conditions were also good to take to the skies, as Steve Procter did with his aerial shot of Droylsden Cemetery.
