A CULT classic horror-comedy musical is coming to Audenshaw this summer as Guide Bridge Theatre presents Little Shop of Horrors.
The show will run from Friday, July 24, to Saturday, August 1, bringing a mix of comedy, catchy music and a darkly twisted story to the Audenshaw Road theatre.
Based on the film by Roger Corman, Little Shop of Horrors follows Seymour Krelborn, a shy flower shop assistant whose life changes when he discovers a mysterious plant he names Audrey II – after his colleague and secret crush, Audrey.
As Seymour cares for the unusual plant, he discovers it has a taste for something far more sinister than sunlight and water. As Audrey II grows, Seymour’s success and fame rise too, but the plant’s demands soon lead him into a dangerous struggle between ambition, morality and survival.

Featuring a soundtrack inspired by 1960s rock, doo-wop and Motown, the show blends humour, horror and heart in a story that has become a favourite with audiences around the world.
The production was originally produced by the WPA Theatre, with Kyle Renick as Producing Director.
Performances will take place at 7.30pm each evening, with an additional Saturday matinee performance at 2pm.
Tickets cost £20 per person, with a discounted price of £18 available for Guide Bridge Theatre members. They can be booked online at https://www.ticketsource.com/gbt/e-jqykkz
