A COMMUNITY centre in Ashton-under-Lyne is inviting local residents to join a special celebration.
4C Community Centre on Taunton Road will host a Community Fun Day on Sunday, July 5.
The free event – part of celebrations to mark the centre being open for five years – promises a day of entertainment, activities and community spirit.
From 11am to 3pm, there’s a packed programme of activities planned for all ages.
Visitors can enjoy stalls from local businesses, inflatables, live entertainment, fairground games, a BBQ, face painting, rides and a visit from an ice cream van.
There will also be emergency service vehicles for families to explore, giving visitors the chance to meet members of the local community who help keep people safe.
Organisers are encouraging residents to come along, make memories and enjoy a fun-filled day with friends and family.
The event is being supported by sponsors Minuteman Press Ashton and Perry Jones Funeral Services.
