BUSINESSES across Tameside are being invited to get involved as the date for this year’s Pride of Tameside Business Awards is now confirmed.
The annual event celebrates the people and companies helping to shape Tameside’s future, while providing an opportunity for businesses to showcase their work, raise their profile and connect with others across the area.
The awards ceremony will take place on Friday, October 9, at Dukinfield Town Hall, bringing together businesses, partners and organisations from across the borough to recognise the achievements, dedication and contribution of the local business community.
A range of sponsorship opportunities are available for organisations wanting to support the event, including sponsoring individual award categories or becoming a main event sponsor.
Previous sponsors have included GM Business Growth Hub, event décor partners Visual Architects, Brand12, Red Rock, Bennett Staff, Tameside College and AC Group.
The awards recognise businesses from a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, digital, retail, construction and social enterprise, reflecting the diversity and ambition of organisations across Tameside.
Councillor Andrew McLaren, Tameside Council’s Executive Member for Growth, Housing and Homelessness, said: “The Pride of Tameside Business Awards are a fantastic way to celebrate the amazing work of businesses across our borough.
