PASSENGERS who travel on the Ashton-under-Lyne tram line are being warned of upcoming weekend disruption.
It’s part of planned improvement works taking place across the Metrolink network.
On Saturday, April 25, and Sunday, April 26, more track repair works will be taking place, which means no trams will operate between Ashton-under-Lyne and Etihad Campus.
Tram users will be able to take a replacement bus from Ashton-under-Lyne, which will run to Piccadilly Gardens.
Tram services will resume from the start of service on Monday, April 27, and later that day, Manchester United fans will be travelling to Old Trafford for the Premier League game against Brentford that kicks off at 8pm.
Transport for Greater Manchester, which operates the Bee Network, has apologised for any inconvenience caused to passengers.
