A PEDESTRIAN was taken to hospital with serious injuries after being struck by a car on a busy road in Ashton-under-Lyne.
The incident happened last Friday evening (March 6) at around 6.55pm on Crickets Lane.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say the car was travelling along the road near the medical practice and the pedestrian suffered “serious but not life-threatening injuries”.
GMP has not confirmed the colour or model of the vehicle, or any details about the victim.
The force’s Roads Policing Unit is appealing for witnesses and, in particular, for anyone who may have been driving in the area at the time with dash-cam footage.
