A TAMESIDE housing provider has given more than £14,000 to a group that helps tackle men’s mental health.
Jugaw, which manages several properties in the borough, presented the sum to AndysManClub after a year of fundraising.
After selecting it as its charity for 2025, a variety of events including a special Parkrun, bingo, football matches, learn to paint classes and raffles, as well as sales of decommissioned laptops and regular monthly donations, raised a total of £14,125.

Further contributions came in a weekend in a holiday home – generously donated by Jigsaw’s Heating Installation Manager Luke Garner – alongside a £500 Airbnb gift voucher and a £750 donation from a supplier’s social value fund.
Group chief executive Brian Moran and deputy Katie Marshall presented the cheque to Chris Kelly, Greater Manchester and Lancashire Lead of AndysManClub, alongside Jigsaw employees,
It also hosted online sessions with the charity to help colleagues learn more about the vital work the charity does across the UK in trying to tackle the stigma around men’s mental health.
AndysManClub offers free peer-to-peer support groups across the UK, providing a confidential and non-judgmental space where men of all ages can openly discuss their mental health.
It currently runs 330 clubs attended by over 6,500 men across the country.
And Katie said: “We’re incredibly proud to have presented AndysManClub with more than £14,000 raised by our colleagues.
“We hope that by raising awareness of the work done by the charity within our workforce, we can show that it’s OK to talk and that this money can go towards helping those who might be struggling with their mental health.”
The group will now focus its fundraising efforts on its chosen charity for 2026, Reuben’s Retreat.
