A fantastic community effort was on display in Stalybridge as members of the Town Team and local residents came together for a spring clean.
Volunteers of all ages spent the morning on Saturday, February 28, collecting litter and helping to improve the appearance of key areas across the town centre.
Armed with litter pickers and bags, the group worked enthusiastically to add a bit of sparkle to Stalybridge.
Organisers were particularly pleased to welcome several younger participants, affectionately known as the “little litter pickers”.
Stalybridge Town Team has confirmed that everyone is welcome to join future tidy up sessions, whether they can spare a short time or the whole morning.
The team extended heartfelt thanks to all who took part, praising the volunteers for their time, effort and continued commitment to keeping Stalybridge looking its best.
