RESIDENTS are being invited to put the kettle on for a good cause at a community coffee afternoon supporting mental health.
St Gabriel’s Church in Ashton-under-Lyne will host the event this weekend.
It’s at the Audley Street venue on Saturday, February 7, from 2pm to 4pm, raising funds for the charity Mental Health UK.
Organisers promise plenty of refreshments, cake and the chance for a friendly chat, with everyone welcome to drop in.
Mental Health UK works to tackle the barriers that can hold people back and provides practical tools and support to help people thrive at home, at school and at work.
