THE former Deputy Prime Minister made another visit to Ashton Sixth Form College to host a Q&A session with A-Level Politics students.
The students had the opportunity to quiz Ashton-under-Lyne MP Angela Rayner.
The discussion covered a wide range of topics – including Brexit, foreign affairs and the MP’s own journey into politics.

Students asked detailed and thoughtful questions, reflecting their strong engagement with current affairs.
Speaking after the session, Ms Rayner praised the students’ enthusiasm and curiosity.
She said: “School and college visits are my favourite bit of the job and I am always so impressed with the questions I get asked and how much interest my youngest constituents have in the world around them.”

The Labour politician – who has been an MP since 2015 – regularly visits schools and colleges in Tameside to take questions from students on a wide range of topics.
