A NEW garden building outlet has opened in Tameside, bringing a national retailer into a garden centre in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Tiger, the award-winning garden building brand operated by Woodlands Home & Garden Group, has launched its latest location at Notcutts Garden Centre.
The site is Tiger’s 23rd opening across the country and marks the company’s second expansion of 2026.

The new show site at the garden centre on Lord Sheldon Way has been launched in partnership with Lancashire Outdoor Living Limited.
Visitors to the Ashton Park centre can now explore a wide range of garden buildings designed for uses including storage, home working, leisure spaces, gyms and games rooms.
Set within the centre of the site, the newly created display area features 25 of Tiger’s most popular models, including summerhouses, potting sheds and modular buildings.
James Flowerday, owner of Lancashire Outdoor Living, said the decision to expand into Ashton followed strong demand elsewhere in the county.
“Demand for Tiger products is consistently high, and our Leyland site proved just how strong the market is. Expanding with a second site was a natural next step. Tiger’s supply chain control, British manufacturing, and 20-year guarantee are huge advantages in this sector, and provide a compelling proposition for customers across Lancashire.”
Sam Jenkinson, Head of Marketing at Tiger, described the opening as a significant milestone for the brand.
“Notcutts Ashton Park is a superb location, and Lancashire Outdoor Living are a fantastic partner with a proven commitment to customer service,” he said.
“The Ashton launch is a significant moment for the brand as our first location with Notcutts. The combination of a prime retail environment and the strong performance of Lancashire Outdoor Living elsewhere gives this site enormous potential. It’s a strategic addition that further reinforces Tiger’s nationwide presence.”
The new Tiger show site at Notcutts Garden Centre is open 9.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Saturday, and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
