Denton and Audenshaw Rotary is preparing for a busy festive season, with members set to launch their annual Christmas charity collections throughout December.
The long-established club, which has been part of the local community since 1946, has supported countless local groups and organisations over the decades, as well as contributing to international projects and disaster-relief efforts.
Their Christmas fundraising drive is one of their most recognised traditions, helping raise vital funds for good causes at home and abroad.
This year, Rotary volunteers will be out collecting door-to-door on weekdays throughout December. Shoppers will also spot them at Crown Point North Shopping Centre on 29 and 30 November, and again on 6, 7, 13 and 14 December.
The club will end its festive activity with two collection days at Sainsbury’s in Denton on 20 and 21 December.
Rotary members are encouraging residents to come along, say hello, and support the charity efforts if they can. They’re also inviting anyone interested in volunteering or getting more involved in community projects to get in touch.

The Denton and Audenshaw Rotary Club continues to welcome new members who want to help deliver positive change locally and globally.
