Vandalism has left volunteers and residents disheartened after the planters outside Hyde Town Hall on Corporation Street were damaged.
The flowers and displays, cared for by local volunteers, are part of a community effort to brighten the town centre.
Their hard work has now been disrespected by what appears to be a deliberate act of vandalism.
