Man, 58, dies following M60 crash

A 58-YEAR-OLD man has died after being involved in a crash on the M60 last weekend. 

Police were called to reports of a collision involving a motorbike on the busy motorway on Saturday afternoon (July 12).

The incident happened on the anti-clockwise side of the motorway, between junction 25 at Bredbury and junction 24 at Denton.

Emergency services, including an air ambulance, rushed to the scene and the man was taken to hospital, where he died on Monday (July 14).

Officers thanked members of the public who stopped by the roadside to give the man initial first aid.

Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate.
