A NEW Farmers Market is set to launch in town on Sunday, July 27, bringing great local traders to the area.
The Market will take place on Mossley Market Ground on the last Sunday of each month from July to October, with a special Christmas celebration edition planned for November.
Running from 9 am until 2 pm, the market will feature a combination of artisan and fresh produce in a family-friendly environment.
This joint community-focused event by Tameside Council and Little Owl Artisan will showcase the best of local craftsmanship, offering a unique blend of handmade, one-of-a-kind products.

It will provide unique handmade gifts as well as farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, making it a great way to spend a Sunday with something for everyone.
What to expect:
- Over ten artisan traders offering goods including fresh pies, artisan bread, fresh eggs, specialty sauces, baked goods, and locally grown plants.
- Face painting and an appearance by a Laurel and Hardy Tribute Act.
- A classic car display.
Cllr Stephen Homer, Tameside Council Executive Member for Towns, Transport, and Connectivity, said: “This market is more than just a shopping event; it’s a celebration of everything that makes the Mossley community special. It’s a chance to meet the makers, support local traders, and enjoy a day filled with community connections.”
