The event marks the launch of a year-long programme to test new uses for the Civic Hall, which has undergone major improvements including a new roof and internal upgrades.

These enhancements are part of the wider regeneration initiative aimed at transforming Stalybridge’s cultural quarter into a vibrant hub for events, arts, and community gatherings.

Councillor Leanne Feeley, Executive Member for Lifelong Learning and Culture, said:

“This is going to be a fantastic weekend, offering something fresh, fun, and exciting for everyone. We’re using this opportunity to explore what’s possible in this amazing space and want to hear from residents about what they’d love to see more of. This is just the beginning—we’ve got so much more in store.”

Further details on the upcoming event series, including Candlelit Concerts, Artisan Markets, and family-friendly activities, will be announced soon.
