YOU can now save the date for a popular event which packs a Tameside village green.
The ‘Festival on the Green’ will be returning to Hollingworth this year with fun for all the family.
The event on Wedneshough Green will be held on Saturday, June 7.
From 11am to 4.30pm, there will be over 30 stalls on the day – including live music, food and drink, and lots more.
It’s organised by the Friends of Hollingworth group, which puts on regular events to bring people of all ages together from the local community.
Entry is free but donations are welcome, which will go towards the Friends group’s fund towards organising next year’s event.
Last year’s festival proved to be a fantastic occasion, with hundreds of visitors enjoying activities such as axe throwing and a climbing wall, as well as plenty of food and artisan stalls.
