A HYDE group looking to help young people get a foothold in life is celebrating after receiving a four-figure grant from Manchester Airport.
Hyde Young People’s Enterprise will now be able to have a more welcoming outdoor area after benefitting to the tune of almost £1,200 from the facility’s Community Trust Fund.
It directly engages with them about what barriers and obstacles they may face in the jobs market, what the solutions could be and how to bring them about.

And by finding new ways, it looks to aid young people make a positive change in society.
And news of this grant, which saw the group be one of 20 organisations that received a total of £34,090.75 been well received.
Abdul Mumin, from Hyde Young People’s Enterprise, said: “The picnic benches will transform our outdoor space into a more welcoming and functional area for our young people and community members.
“This will allow us to hold activities outdoors, create opportunities for social interaction, and encourage engagement in a positive and supportive environment.”
