Community invited to meeting about Denton Carnival 2025

IT may be months away but the start of planning Denton Carnival will begin this week.

And new volunteers with fresh ideas are being sought to help make the 2025 event even bigger and better.

The Denton Carnival Committee is holding its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Friday evening (February 7).

Starting at 7pm, it will be held at 139 St Anne’s Road in Denton (postcode M34 3DY).

Anyone who wants to get involved in shaping and organising this year’s carnival is invited to attend.

Last year, the carnival made a spectacular return as the cherished tradition was revived following a five-year absence.

The celebrations included a parade, a family funfair, a Makers Market, and a variety of food and drink outlets.

Denton Carnival is organised entirely by volunteers, who rely on fundraising and generous donations to deliver the event.
