A POPULAR Tameside pub has dug deep to fundraise for a good cause.
Staff and punters at The King William IV Newton, fondly known as the ‘King Bill’ fundraised for weeks in the run up to Christmas to support Willow Wood.
Just before Christmas, David Parrott from the pub presented the Hospice with a cheque for an impressive £1,000.
The Hospice expressed heartfelt thanks for the ongoing support. “Community efforts like this are essential to our work, and we’re truly thankful to the King Bill pub and its patrons,” a spokesperson said.
