The ‘Character Curry’ evening will take place on Tuesday, February 18.

Hyde fundraisers have been in operation since 1985 and to kick off their anniversary celebrations, the group is hosting an event at the award-winning Indian Plaza in Audenshaw.

Speaking about the event, SP Bowling from Hyde Fundraisers said:

“We have never done an event like this before, but ‘character dinners’ are a popular attraction across the world, including at Disney. Now here is the chance to have our very own themed event to start the group’s 40th anniversary off to a great start. So come and join us for a great family event and support some great charities too!”

The event promises a memorable dining experience, with appearances from characters including R2D2, The Joker, Ghostbuster, Deadpool, Spiderman, and more.

In addition to the character encounters, ticket holders will enjoy a meal featuring poppadom, chutneys, and a curry.

The night will also feature a raffle, with all proceeds supporting BBC Children in Need and other charitable causes.

Tickets are priced at £20 for adults and just £5 for children under 10. Given the popularity of similar themed dining experiences, tickets are expected to sell quickly.
