FOLLOWING a successful summer exploration challenge, a Mossley funeral director has now organised a halloween-themed game for local children.
Anthony Barton Independent Family Funeral Service is set to hide pumpkins all around the town for kids to find.
They will be located on fences, trees and lampposts across Mossley and Carrbrook.
Anyone who returns any of the pumpkins to the funeral home at 63 Stamford Street will receive a gift.
The ‘Halloween Hunt’ is for one night only will start on Thursday, October 31.
It follows the success of the Easter Egg Hunt that Anthony held earlier this year.
Anthony told The Correspondent: “Lots of children are out at Halloween and i wanted to follow on from the other games we had set up for the children in the area.
“It’s been so busy. The response has been brilliant. I don’t want children to think a funeral directors is a morbid place. We want people to come through the door and feel comfortable. The smiles from the children is worth everything.
“Funeral directors can bring happiness in unexpected ways.”
