HYDE is all set for a thrilling Halloween event on Saturday, October 19 from 11am-3pm when it will transform into a haunted hub of fun and frights for the whole family.
Brought to you by Tameside Council in collaboration with the Hyde Accelerator Delivery Group and fully funded by the Hyde High Street Accelerator Fund, this spooky celebration promises an unforgettable day of entertainment, food, and seasonal fun.
The event will take place in Hyde’s Market Square featuring a wide array of activities, including live music, street performances, arts, and crafts, and plenty of delicious food.
Look out for eerie Victorian servant girl ghosts, daring fire characters, and a mad scientist puppet show! There will also be balloon artists, face painting, and plenty more to keep everyone entertained.
Foodies, get ready to indulge in a mouth-watering selection of street food, from gourmet stone baked pizza and Greek gyros to Caribbean Street eats and juicy burgers. To top it off, enjoy some Oktoberfest-style Belgian beers at our pop-up bar.
Mark Whylie, Chair of Hyde Town Centre High Street Accelerator partnership said: “We want everyone to come out and enjoy this free family friendly event and join in the fun. The High Street Accelerator Funding is about creating events and improving our outdoor spaces for the community to spend time in and enjoy and be proud of our town.”
Don’t miss this fang-tastic event—perfect for a hauntingly good time with family and friends!
