AN INTIMATE evening of spoken word and acoustic performances from some of Manchester’s most talented creatives is coming to Stalybridge.
The ‘Chatter and Verse’ event will be held at Industry, at Longlands Mill on Castle Street, on Thursday, September 26, starting at 7pm.
The evening will be hosted by legendary local poet Leon The Pig Farmer and will include soulful acoustic performances from Lorena Bellavia and George Gibson as well as Mancunian poets Keith’s brother, Louise Machen, Loll and Tony Curry delivering their unique verses.
There will also be a whole lotta soul from vinyl spinning DJ Good Neet Soul (Harry) who will be playing tunes all night long.
Tickets cost £6 and are available on Eventbrite. The bar will be serving up cocktails and some of the finest Tuscan imported wines from Heaton Chappel’s Vino Bueno Italian Wines.
