Mossley craft studio seeks new ownership

A LOCAL creative studio and party space has announced its intention to find a new owner.

Helen Prescott says it is “with a heavy heart” and “for no other reason than family health issues” that she is looking to sell Doodlepots in Mossley.

The craft studio on Lees Road caters for paint a pot, slime making and foam clay with drop-in sessions available, as well as having its own eatery and a private hire party room upstairs.

Helen, who took over the business from Claire Cuthbert in September 2022, says Doodlepots will continue as normal until a new owner is found.

She explained: “It is with a heavy heart and for no other reason than family health issues, I will have to try and find a new owner for Doodlepots.

“I am not in a rush and it’s extremely important that it goes to someone who is willing to carry on the business.

“If we don’t find the right person, we will carry on until we do and business will continue as normal.
