St. Peter’s Ward: The countdown begins as the candidates await the results. With Cllr David McNally’s 13-year tenure for Labour and independent candidate Kaleel Khan’s surging popularity, the outcome promises to be a close one.

The highest turnout at this stage is Hyde Werneth with 36.4%

The lowest is Dukinfield ward with a turnout of 24%
We are waiting for three more wards to post the verification results
The verification results are starting to be shared – here we learn what the voter turnout percentage is in each area. Not many appear to be more than 30% at this stage.
