A MAN has been charged with the murder of an Ashton-under-Lyne woman who has been missing for more than two years.
Alisha Apostoloff-Boyarin disappeared on February 2, 2022.
The last time she was seen was eight days earlier in a gold Volkswagen Passat being driven through the Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith area of Derbyshire.
Now even though her body has not been found, 61-year-old David Taylor, of Willington in County Durham has been charged by police.
In March 2022, officers arrested a 59-year-old man on suspicion of murder but he was later bailed pending further enquiries.
And following further enquiries from Greater Manchester Police’s Major Incident Team, Mr Taylor has been charged.
He will appear at Manchester Crown Court on Thursday, March 14.
