Groups can apply for Rotary club’s Dragons’ Den

A LOCAL Rotary club is looking for charities and community groups to take part in its very own Dragons’ Den. 

We’ve all heard of the BBC show where entrepreneurs pitch their business ideas to a panel of investors.

Now, Dukinfield and Stalybridge Rotary is hosting its own version on March 21 at 7pm at Stamford Golf Club on Huddersfield Road.

The kind-hearted Rotarians have funds to distribute to local causes and are encouraging small groups and charities in Dukinfield, Stalybridge and Mossley to apply.

All they need to do is complete a short form to have a chance of meeting the club’s very own ‘dragons’.

If chosen, representatives from the group or charity would be required to give a short five-minute pitch for their cause to a very friendly panel.

Everyone taking part on the night will receive a donation.
