Oldham’s involvement in the supply of Class A drugs in the Tameside area was uncovered during a county line investigation.

It was carried out by Detective Constable Laura Hughes from GMP Tameside’s Child Criminal Exploitation Team, who said: “This was a lengthy investigation which has quite rightly resulted in Oldham going to prison.

“Drugs have no place in the community and officers from Greater Manchester Police will continue to remove these drugs from society and bring those committing offences before the courts.”
