A MAN threatened a woman with a knife in her own home in Hyde before stealing jewellery after pretending to be a parcel courier.
The man knocked on the woman’s door on Osbourne Road and shouted ‘Amazon’. She opened the door, believing him to be delivering a parcel.
He forced his way inside, pulled out a pen knife and demanded she hand over her jewellery.
The suspect stole a valuable engagement ring and a watch before making off in an unknown direction.
The alleged incident happened at around 5.50pm on Friday, December 22, 2023.
Greater Manchester Police have been investigating and are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
