DOGS and their owners will be welcomed at a Christmas Fair at a Denton-based rehoming centre this weekend.
Dogs Trust Manchester will be throwing open its doors at the Parkway centre from 10am on Sunday, December 3.
Everything from stalls selling gifts for four and two-legged friends, tombolas, raffles, games, a cafe full of festive foods, and canine capers with fun competitions for four-legged visitors will be on offer.
Parking and entry will be free to the fair, which will be on until 4pm.
Nicola Hardman, Supporter Relations Officer at Dogs Trust Manchester, said: “We are really excited and can’t wait to welcome everyone to the fair.
“There will be lots of fun activities for owners and dogs to take part in and dogs can show off their skills with competitions including fastest recall and best sausage catcher as well as prettiest pooch, most handsome dog, best golden oldie and best Dogs Trust rescue.
“We will also have a rehoming parade so that people looking to welcome a dog into their life can find out more about some of the dogs still waiting to find their special someone.
“It’s always very busy and noisy so although we hope lots of dogs, especially former Dogs Trust Manchester residents, come along we would ask people to only bring their dogs if they are sure will thoroughly enjoy it!”
