Ashton woman accused of unlicensed street trading

AN ASHTON woman is to face court accused of trading on a street without a licence.

Larisa Lacatus, of Mossley Road, is charged with offences on consecutive days in two different locations on Wilmslow Road in Manchester.

And on Thursday, November 16, she will plead at a hearing at Tameside Magistrates Court following the adjournment of the case at Manchester Magistrates on Thursday, October 5.

Miss Lacatus is charged with being ‘engaged in street trading in a consent street, namely outside My Lahore at 14-18 Wilmslow Road without being authorised to do so’ on October 22 last year.

She has also alleged to have committed the same offence a day later outside Saajan’s takeaway in the Rusholme area of the city.

Both charges are under the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982.
