PEOPLE stocked up on their autumn and winter wardrobe at a fashion show in Ashton, which raised vital funds for a local charity.
The event on Wednesday evening (October 4) has been described by those in attendance as a great night and an excellent fundraiser.
It was organised by Tameside Rotary, whose dedicated volunteers raise money for good causes across the borough all year round.
Tickets sold out days before the show at the 4C Community Centre on Taunton Road, where the room was busy with people who bought clothes and accessories including those supplied by Fizz.
Ms United Kingdom Endeavour for 2023/24 was there modelling clothes and the Civic Mayor of Tameside, Councillor Tafheen Sharif, also showed her support.
The amount raised will be confirmed in due course.
All proceeds will go to The Believe and Achieve Trust – which supports local people in Tameside and surrounding areas who have been affected by meningitis or those who need help to achieve in sport.
