‘Hey-Ho Lego! Exhibition coming to Mossley

SOME of the most talented creators will descended on Mossley for the return of its annual Lego event.

The town’s Methodist Church will host ‘Mossley Bricks’ on Saturday, May 13.

Hundreds of people attended in 2022 to see what can be done with what is normally considered a toy with a series of brilliant exhibits. And it raised an astonishing £1,012, which was split evenly between the Methodist Church and the Cancer Committee.

A fully-functioning fairground, a model of Blackpool Tower and farms were on display as well as models of classic cars from TV and films, including Ghostbusters, Back To The Future and Mr Bean.

The event starts at 10.30am and runs until 4pm. Pay on the door, tickets cost £2.50 for an adult, £1 for children aged 5-16 with free admission for those under 5.

  1. The photographer for The Tameside Correspondent, who came to the Mossley (LEGO) Brick Show on Saturday 13th May, took a picture of all those exhibitors and other participants in the event.

Is there a way of obtaining a copy of this photograph? We wish to share it with Mossley Methodist Church, for whom over £1,000 was raised for local charities.
