A MOSSLEY pub will do its bit to help its local community by putting on a free Christmas dinner for those feeling lonely or isolated.
The Best O’Brass, on Manchester Road, will open its doors at noon on December 25 and will serve a festive feast for those with no-one to celebrate with.
Landlord Kyle Clayton has decided to cook roast chicken, turkey or gammon with all the trimmings for people and will provide a welcome environment for those who would otherwise be on their own.
He said: “No one deserves to spend Christmas alone and at the Best O’Brass, we are all family.”
It is expected the pub will be open until mid-afternoon and as well as the meal, there will be a sing song.
