A STALYBRIDGE primary school has turned back the clock to pre-Covid-19 times by opening its doors for a full school and community mass.
St Raphael’s RC Primary in Millbrook allowed parents and grandparents to join its pupils for the ceremony for the first time since 2019.
And the momentous occasion went down brilliantly, with as many of the older ones loving it as much as the younger ones.
After the mass on September 29, St Raphael’s held a coffee morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, which was a huge success.
For £641 was raised by people buying brews and enjoying cakes which were donated saw people enjoy the surroundings while raising money for the good cause.
St Raphael’s described the final sum as ‘an amazing result.’
